FaithI’ve heard the quote,  faith of a mustard seed regarding moving a mountain, and that is a great image. It’s the most common quote regarding faith in the Bible, but I like the way it is described in Luke 17:6 “The Lord replied, “If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, Be uprooted and planted in the sea, and it would obey you.” Both the mountain and the mulberry tree responding to your words would be magnificent spectacles!  A seed so tiny, grows into a plant that porportionaly speaking is a giant compared to its humble beginnings, is a great example of how the tiniest bit of faith one has, can grow from perhaps, even in the middle of despair or calamity, or both, into a great healing, confidence, and belief. My faith was with me through one of the most difficult times in my life. No I didn’t tell the mountain to move or command the mulberry tree to jump in the sea, but armed with that faith, Christ healed a mountain of illness that had harmed me. That tiny bit of faith sustained me through the darkest hours with a glimmer of hope that I would recover what I had lost. By the way, I love mulberries!

I haven’t updated in a while because I’ve been hard at work on a book regarding this struggle and most importantly God’s healing. I will post the back cover of the book in the next update, which I promise will be more timely! God Bless!
